Hi all,
Protests seem to be all over the globe right now from Hong Kong to Belarus to Lebanon to the US. It’s a hot and angry summer. But with the protests come certain safety considerations.
To help you stay safe and still earn that dough, we led a #FreelanceHacks online discussion this week where Anna Ignatenko and Juan Cortes shared their experiences.

In our commitment to the ACOS Principles and to help ensure your safety, we’ve spent a year creating Version 2.0 of HackPack!
Besides overall being amazing, for safety, it will enable you to indicate whether you’ve attended HEFAT Training and what equipment you have (Kevlar vest, helmet, etc.). We’ll be launching Version 2.0 soon, but first we want to show it to you and get your feedback.
So I’m organizing two separate webinars, where I’ll personally demonstrate what we’ve developed and listen to your feedback. Be sure to apply and join us as we work to fix the way freelancing works.
On the note of safety, in July we also started providing all members hired through HackPack with accidental medical and death insurance. See full details.
And now on to the #WeeklyGigs! Remember, it is free to post if you have an opportunity to promote to the community of 14,000 fixers, journalists, photographers and videographers. We select the best ones and include them in this weekly curated list!
