Hi all,
Hope the week is off to a great start! This session of the bi-WeeklyGigs is including a little training on how to maximize your HackPack account. Check out how to get your profile promoted and some amazing grants and jobs!
#RockingHackPack
In this section, I’m providing a quick explainer about the key improvements on HackPack 2.0, so you can best rock the platform and get more jobs.
Today, we’re talking about Verified
On your profile, you’ll see little grey and green shields. These indicate aspects of a profile that need to be filled in BEFORE you can be verified. The benefits of being verified are:
You have a nice shiny shield on your profile
You appear higher in the search for clients to find
Clients will be more likely to trust and hire you
So how do you become verified?
You need to add key information, so users can understand your skills and connect, including: Profile Picture, Example of Work, Reference, Connected Phone, About, Language, Location and Expertise & Skill…and of course your name.
After that, a blue banner will appear and you can click on ‘Request a review’ and we are sent an email to review your profile!
PS - Everyone hates updating profiles on all of these various platforms, especially when all of the data is yours to begin with. So we’re going to help you out.
If you would like references you’ve received on other platforms displayed on your HackPack profile, write to team@hackpack.press with the link to your profile on the other platform. We’ll then ensure that your reference data is properly migrated to your HackPack profile.
Now on to the top opportunities on HackPack!
Remember, HackPack is a community where we help other great freelancers around the world discover interesting opportunities. Share what you find, so others will benefit! You can target posts by language, location and area of expertise to make sure others in the industry benefit too. We’re all in this together!
